## NPCs and their behaviors

**NPCs** are unique in **Ethernia; they eat and drink, wake up and sleep, and have kids. They go hunting etc.**

Just kidding

NPCs are dumb characters in **ClashingBlades** they either sell you stuff for **LYKA** or buy from you.

But what's so unique that they need their Page? I will tell you. 

**NPCs** in **Ethernia,** although dumb, have one unique mechanic that separates them from other games. 

**NPCs** in **Ethernia** have a vault/inventory; each has a monthly budget in **LYKA**.

Wait, what? Yes, **NPCs** need **LYKA** to be able to buy your items from you.

If they don't have any **LYKA**, most LYKALY will not buy anything from you because they're too poor to afford it, but how? 

**NPCs** accumulate **LYKA** when you buy items from them, and with their **LYKA,** they can afford to purchase Items from Players. 

So it's a literal trade for them, they have to be able to afford your item to buy it from you, and you have to purchase items from them so they can buy items from other players or yourself.
