NPC is short for Not Playing ClashingBlades

NPCs and their behaviors

NPCs are unique in Ethernia; they eat and drink, wake up and sleep, and have kids. They go hunting etc.

Just kidding

NPCs are dumb characters in ClashingBlades they either sell you stuff for LYKA or buy from you.

But what's so unique that they need their Page? I will tell you.

NPCs in Ethernia, although dumb, have one unique mechanic that separates them from other games.

NPCs in Ethernia have a vault/inventory; each has a monthly budget in LYKA.

Wait, what? Yes, NPCs need LYKA to be able to buy your items from you.

If they don't have any LYKA, most LYKALY will not buy anything from you because they're too poor to afford it, but how?

NPCs accumulate LYKA when you buy items from them, and with their LYKA, they can afford to purchase Items from Players.

So it's a literal trade for them, they have to be able to afford your item to buy it from you, and you have to purchase items from them so they can buy items from other players or yourself.
